2nd Joyful Mystery. The Blessed Virgin pays a visit to her cousin Elizabeth.

5th Joyful Mystery.  Jesus is lost for 3 days and the Blessed Mother finds 

Him in the Temple.

Welcome to the mysteries of the rosary

The Rosary consists of 20 Mysteries 

divided into four distinct parts - 

The Joyful, The Luminous, The Sorrowful, and 

the Glorious Mysteries.


Each Mystery is an oil painting on Balm of Gilead Tree Trunk (1" thick, ~ 9 - 11" in diameter). Balm of Gilead was a rare perfume used in Biblical times medicinally for healing purposes. As an artist and a healer, I was excited to learn this after I purchased this beautiful wood to create a painting using one of God's most beautiful and 

significantly symbolic creations - the Tree.
